Mentally Healthy Workplace Training for Managers

Mentally Healthy Workplace Training for Managers is part of Healthy Working Lives and is delivered locally by Healthy Shetland. 

It is aimed at improving the awareness and understanding of mental health for those with management responsibility for staff.  It provides the knowledge and skills to support employees who may be experiencing mental ill health, helping them remain in work.

The objectives of the course is to:

·       Identify the key factors that contribute to a mentally healthy workplace

·       Give line managers a broad understanding of mental health in the workplace

·       Ensure managers are aware of their responsibilities in relation to health and wellbeing

·       Improve managers skills and confidence in dealing with mental health in the workplace

Course format
This is a one-day, in-person training course.

Available dates
All sessions run 9.00am – 4.45pm and take place at Islesburgh Community Centre, Lerwick.
