Starting Solids
Starting Solids is a new chapter for you and your baby, this workshop will increase your confidence to introduce your baby to solid food from the age of 6 months.
The workshop will help you decide:
- How to make mealtimes an enjoyable experience for both of you
- When your baby is ready to try solid food
- What foods to start with
- When your baby is hungry and when they’ve had enough

Eat Well for Less
This workshop helps the whole family to eat well for less including tips for a cheaper healthy shopping basket, recipes for simple, healthy low-cost meals.
- Develop some next steps to support eating well within a budget
- Share experiences of shopping for food
- Pool ideas for activities to support eating well for less
- Reflect together on ways of involving the whole family in planning and preparing healthy food

Fussy Eating
Finding mealtimes stressful? The Fussy Eating workshop will provide new ideas to encourage your little one to try and to enjoy new foods.
As parents we want our children to eat well – and to enjoy mealtimes together The Fussy eating workshop will provide support and new ideas for:
- Happier family mealtimes so you can enjoy eating together as a family
- How to encourage your child to try new foods – and begin to enjoy them!
- Child-friendly foods that provide what they need to grow and be healthy

Healthy Teeth
Having healthy teeth is important for young children’s development and wellbeing.
The Healthy Teeth Workshop will provide an opportunity to:
- Share experiences of looking after children’s teeth and preventing tooth decay
- Pool ideas for healthy food swaps that are lower in sugar
- Explore how much sugar is in everyday drinks
- Reflect together on ideas to support tooth brushing

Understanding Children’s Behaviour
A chance to find out what’s driving your child’s behaviour.
- The power of empathy
- The effect of feelings on behaviour and the link between feelings and needs
- The importance of listening to children

Looking After Ourselves
Family life can be stressful, this workshop helps you to find ways to look after yourself and stay calm so you can juggle everything better.
- Develop an on-going support group with other parents and carers
- Share experiences of daily life with young children.
- Recognising signs of stress
- Recharging our batteries
