You can't pour from an empty jug: to be able to look after others we have to look after ourselves. There's a bewildering amount of information and resources out there to help us support our own wellbeing, so we've kept this simple: brief information on local support, and links to national and online resources.

Confidential space for health and social care staff to talk; access/advice on 1:1 support for health and wellbeing. Available 6pm - 9pm, Monday to Friday.

 

Staff Wellbeing Area & Sanctuary

Space to rest and reflect at the Gilbert Bain Hospital Sanctuary. Refreshments including tea & coffee, as well as self-care resources. Open all hours, every day. We are in the process of making similar spaces more widely available throughout Shetland.

Support available to all staff who need someone to speak to.
