This explains what frontline health and social care workers should be wearing in different settings and scenarios. The guidance has been agreed by the Royal Colleges and expert scientific groups. New tables have been added to the guidance which explain the PPE required for different common clinical and care scenarios.

As an organisation we do not expect individuals to face risks alone. If you are in any doubt about what is the right decision for you or your patients please speak with your line manager in the first instance. The Infection Control team are happy to support managers with interpretation of the guidance.
